Unveiling October; a dream holiday cottage awaits

October has arrived, and with it some unusually warm weather I’m glad to say. It means it’s much nicer to go out for a walk at the moment, before we have to wrap up with coats, gloves and woolly hats. I don’t know about you, but I like to delay those extra layers until as late as possible.

I had the great pleasure of going to visit this holiday cottage a few months ago, and it was fantastic. It’s an old eelers cottage (which I love as they have so much character), with an added extension, and has the most amazing and uninterrupted views over Hickling Broad. Well worth a read.

As Watersedge holiday cottage is in the Norfolk Broads, it makes sense to show you another Broad that I visited a while ago – Ranworth Broad. You can take a boat trip with the Norfolk Wildlife Trust (the only way to see Ranworth Broad) and have a very interesting and informative time, and at the same time visit the ruins of St Benet’s Abbey.
