Enjoy the Golden Sands of Sea Palling Beach September 05, 2024 |
Enjoy the Golden Sands of Sea Palling Beach Sea Palling beach truly is one of Norfolk’s hidden gems of a beach that boasts beautiful golden sands and calm waters. The reason it has these golden sands is because of the man-made reefs that are just offshore and put there to help slow coastal erosion.
That’s what you’ll love about this beach - you can enjoy the calm sea and almost white sand, the perfect beach for families and bucket and spading. The Norfolk Coast Path trail also comes on this beach, so there's plenty of walking should you want to do some! There are a few cafes, a pub, fish and chips and an ice cream parlour just landward of the beach, as well as a car park nearby. Our detailed page explores the beach in more detail. Find out all about Sea Palling beach here.
Thanks for reading this week’s newsletter. Keep an eye open next week for a video of a fantastic circular walk.
Best wishes, Suzy P.S. Close to the village of Sea Palling is Happisburgh Lighthouse, the iconic red and white lighthouse sitting atop the ever eroding cliffs in Happisburgh. Check out more about Happisburgh Lighthouse here. |
