Norfolk's Bluebell Wonderland: A Spring Spectacle

Good Afternoon,

Spring in Norfolk brings a magical transformation to the Norfolk woodlands, with Blickling Estate and the Norfolk Wildlife Trust Foxley Wood both stealing the show. These woods burst into a carpet of bluebells, creating a breathtaking purple floor that is, quite frankly, unforgettable!

The best time to visit these bluebell woods is late April to early May, so make a note in your diary to go and visit them.

Blickling Estate's ancient woodland has an excellent walk you can take amongst the bluebells, the carpet of flowers stretches as far as the eye can see and weave their way in amongst the wonderful beech trees. It's a sight that never fails to take my breath away!

Foxley Wood is also another fantastic place to see bluebells in all their glory. As Norfolk's largest ancient woodland and managed by the Norfolk Wildlife Trust, Foxley Wood perhaps offers a more secluded bluebell experience.

Come and explore Norfolk's bluebell woods - you won't be disappointed!

You’ll find how you can visit the bluebells at Foxley Wood here.

Best wishes,

Suzy
