Watatunga: Norfolk's Wild Safari Adventure

Good Afternoon,

This week I want to bring to you a truly unique destination that's been making waves in Norfolk's conservation scene - Watatunga Wildlife Reserve.

Watatunga isn't your typical wildlife park. Opened in July 2020, it's the brainchild of local farmer Ed Pope, whose passion for wildlife conservation has created something truly special. Spanning 170 acres of meadows, woodlands, and wetlands, Watatunga is home to Europe's largest collection of deer and antelope, many of which are endangered species rarely seen outside their native habitats.

But what sets Watatunga apart? It's not just about viewing animals; it's about immersing yourself in a conservation success story. Here you'll encounter creatures you most probably have never have heard of before, like the majestic Scimitar Horned Oryx or the Kafue Flat Lechwe.

It's an experience that will definitely leave you with a newfound appreciation for wildlife preservation.

You can read more about Watatunga here.

If you’re looking for a unique day out, Watatunga Wildlife Reserve promises an unforgettable experience, without a doubt.

Keep an eye out for next week’s newsletter when I’ll be bringing Felbrigg Hall to your inbox!

Best wishes,

Suzy
